Sometimes, God, the world just gets me down. And I don't know why and it's super-frustrating. But I get down, God, and you lift me back up. You're something so real and awesome that I don't know how to say it. Not even the most eloquent of writers have been able to express it. So the best I can do is this: just type something out.

Thanks, God, for the FCA lesson. Prepare me for that, give me the strength to speak in front of the group. Move the hearts of the people I'm talking to, God. So many people in that room need help from you, just as I do. Let them know that my lesson is going be directed at me just as much as at them. Sometimes, God, I don't think we know how passionate we need to be for you and our Christian walk isn't a very intense thing. God, please let these lessons be a wake-up call and ignite a fire in their hearts. Not just a candle that's gonna go out in a couple weeks. I see even my closest of friends be insistent on doing things that they want to do, and I don't think you'd approve on them. I wonder, God, when that attitude of theirs will change. Please, God. Let these little lessons I'm going to give in FCA be a turning point. Let this be the beginning of a fiery, pure, uncompromised faith in you.
